Ready to go 2023

Following my last post - 2017 - things went a bit haywire what with Brexit and Covid. We are now back on an even keel and hope to have a successful year this year. Last year was very dry so the garden took a hit and I am hoping to do better this year. We had severe water restrictions and the garden looked very sad.
We lost our bread van when Lydie retired last summer but there has been a dispensing machine installed in the Place d’Eglise which is kept topped up with fresh bread.
We were excited to hear a whisper that there would be a small Thai restaurant opening where the bar used to be. Another discovery I made was a pleasant walk round some ponds, the area has been planted with shrubs and trees and there are seating areas and picnic tables. If you follow the signs for the etang you will find it. The village held the 4th July celebrations there for the last two years so long may that continue.
